Miss Averie was almost 6 months old before we got to do her photos and she has already travelled across the country!  She was way too cute photographing - I almost didn't want to leave!

Little Miss Iyla was so excited for her photos she just did not want to go to sleep!  :)  Even still I had a great time hanging out with Victoria, Travis and their new bundle of joy.  I'm not sure what it is with me and newborns with bright blue eyes lately - but they all seem to glisten!  

Baby Briya couldn't wait to come!  Her Mama was another one of my maternity / newborn clients that had her little girl early!  Only 3 days after we finished the maternity session!  She was great!  Not a peep out of her for the entire session!

This is a very special session to me as its my best friend's little boy.  Isn't he gorgeous!  He couldn't wait to meet his parents so he came just a little early!  Its amazing to see the love that parent have for their children - and I can't be more proud of Rob and Chantelle.  This little guy will be a heartbreaker for sure - and I can't wait to document him as he grows up to a little man!  

You may remember Janine and Robbie from their maternity session a few weeks back.  Little Elsa did not want to come a day early - even with my record of putting women into early labour! She was well worth the wait though.  Such a beautiful little girl that is going to be loved so much by her parents as they make their new life in Saskatoon!  We're definitely going to miss you guys - and make sure to post lots of photos of her as she grows!

You may remember Nicole and Jayson from their maternity session back in July.  They finally welcomed little Kenzie to the world a little over a week ago and I was really looking forward to getting out and shooting her.  She is going to have extremely strong legs - lol she didn't want to scrunch at all.  We finally got outside for some great photos of the 3 of them.  Enjoy guys and I'll be talking to you soon!

This little guy was a breeze!  He slept pretty much the entire session - no matter what we put him in, how we placed him, or where we went!  I had such a good time hanging out with little Blake and his proud parents - cherish these sleepy days - I hear that they are numbered!XOXO

Today I had the pleasure of photographing Avery Jolie - quite simply one of the most beautiful little girls I've ever seen.  She was such a good girl - allowing us to utilize this *awesome* red chair in her parents house.  Once we got outside she was just as good - I can tell her parents are going to have their hands full turning all the boys away when she gets older!

Today I got to capture the gorgeous Easton Fontaine.  His parents, Angela and Brendan, are friends of mine from way back - so when Angela contacted me about doing Newborn shots for their new addition I was super excited.  He was born just 1 week ago today and was a great baby to shoot.  He was so content and loved being up in his mama's arms.  With his big beautiful blue grey eyes he is sure to be a heartbreaker!

I could not wait to get home today to start editing a sneak peak from this session!  Today's session was one that I have waited for since I began shooting newborns.  I've always admired other newborn photographers who seem to be able to get the babies to do so many cute things - they sleep, they smile, and most of all they don't cry!  Although I've been pretty fortunate in the crying part - I've had less luck in the posing.  Little K was such a good girl today.  She fell asleep almost instantly and was out like a light and let us do pretty much anything we could think of with her.   K's mom Mary Louise was the winner of my newborn package from the Birth Choices Baby Shower.  I didn't know it at first but we actually have a close mutual friend.  I am so glad I got the chance to shoot for them today - its gave me a greater appreciation for these types of shoots!

Okay last session before Christmas I promise!  LOL! I had a great time this morning with this little princess - she was so good to us - and allowed us to do some really great things with her.  I hope you enjoy these as much as i enjoyed shooting them!

Today is my last session until after the new year.  Don't worry I still have a few sneak peaks under my sleeve!  I had a great time today photographing the Cahill family.  They are longtime friends of ours, Shawn actually sold us our new house, and recently added a new addition - beautiful Brady for big sister Cali.  It was my first time at their beautiful new house and we had a great time breaking in a few new places.  We also found a great trick for dad - Brady just loved the fireplace in their room.  They might end up having a very large gas bill - but the tradeoff of a good night's sleep might just be worth it!
