Introducing, The White Sheet! What is a White Sheet Session? On January 29th and 30th I will be shooting 30 minute sessions at the Platinum Hotel for clients with white sheets. These sessions are simple and very classic – and can be dressed up with gorgeous jewelry, makeup, killer heels, and sexy bedroom hair.

Included is an online gallery with 15 retouched photos of which you can choose 5 for instant digital download. You will also be able to order additional products at a 15% from the gallery if you wish. A 5×5 Little Black Book is also available at a 50% discount and includes all of your digital files in a beautiful presentation for $350.00. (Please note books take up to 8 weeks to arrive due to their custom nature)

This package is valued at over $1500.00 if purchased separately – but is available for a limited time for $300.00! Kari’s day started off quite relaxed.  Getting her hair and makeup done with her girls – nibbling on the fresh fruit of the Okanagan, before slipping into her gorgeous custom made Cicada Bridal dress.   From the jewelry, to the flowers and  the decorations everything was perfect.

The boys are usually a little harder to shoot than the girls.  Many feel awkward getting ready in front of the camera – but not these boys!  With such a close group my second shooter Jessica felt right at home.  Though there were definitely nerves in the room the boys managed to pull it all together.  I have to say they cleaned up quite nicely!

The ceremony was full of laughter, tears, and barefoot walks down the aisle.  Reminding each other, “There’s no crying in Baseball”, Kari and her dad made it down the aisle to her groom in one piece.   With an afternoon spent drinking wine on TJ’s dad’s winery, Dirty Laundry, and an evening filled with love I had a great time capturing their new beginning.  Everyone made me feel like a part of the family – and I hope you enjoy the images as much as I do!

Okay so that sounds a little morbid.  BUT I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately and how it relates to my photography.  I make no secret about my love to travel – or my love of photography.  So why not join the two?!  I already shoot destination weddings (Stay tuned for 2 great weddings to be blogged in the next few months) – but so many couples don’t realize that taking a photographer with you might be their best option.  Not only do you get two experienced photographers with you for your wedding – you also get the chance to meet with me first, do an engagement session – and get comfortable in front of my camera.  You don’t have to worry about not knowing who you’re getting for your photographer (for Caribbean Weddings) or having to communicate via phone or email if you’re getting a local photographer.  Now you’re probably wondering what this all has to do with a “Bucket List” and I’m about to tell you.  Starting in 2011 I’ll be available to shoot 2 destination weddings a year for just the cost of travel – BUT there’s a catch – it has to be on my Bucket List of places I want to see before I die, and it can only be used once – and then it’s removed from the list!  If you’re interested check out all the details below!
